I'll be getting to the stage of NG+ next week and wanted to know exactly what will change when I get started. Do I lose my skills and traits etc? Is it a complete wipe?
As soon as you go NG+ you will lose everything except your levels and skills. Everything else you have built or spent time on will go. It's a new start really but you can skip the campaign in NG+.
That's why it;s advisable to complete the main story first and focus on it instead of stuff like base building etc.
