Is there cross progression in Starfield?

Looking to play on both Xbox and Steam. Is there some sort of cross progression so I can use both?

So, Xbox and Steam would not allow for cross progression. If you want to share info, then get it on the Microsoft Xbox store and then you can between PC and Xbox.
