With Fallout 4 releasing on PC today there are a few tweaks that can be applied to enhance the game, including changing the FOV from the default 80.
To change the FOV do the following:
- Open the Fallot4.ini file
- Look for the [Display] section
- fDefaultWorldFOV=XX (change XX to the desired FOV)
- fDefault1stPersonFOV=XX (change XX to the desired FOV)
- Open the Fallout4Prefs.ini
- fDefaultWorldFOV=XX (change XX to the desired FOV)
- fDefault1stPersonFOV=XX (change XX to the desired FOV)
Next do the followiing:
- Go to where Steam is installed
- Go to Steamapps folder
- Go to common folder
- Go to Fallout 4 folder
- The go to other Fallout 4 folder inside the above one
- Open Fallout4Prefs.ini and find [Display] section
- fDefaultWorldFOV=XX (change XX to the desired FOV)
- fDefault1stPersonFOV=XX (change XX to the desired FOV)
You can also activate ultrawise support by opening the Fallout4Prefs.ini as you have done above in both directpry locations and change the following lines exactly as below and replace the XXXX and YYYY with our desired setting:
bTopMostWindow=1
bMaximizeWindow=1
bBorderless=1
bFull Screen=0
iSize H=XXXX (change horizontal resolution)
iSize W=YYYY change vertical resolution)
