I have been picking up bobbleheads and dumping them in my stash and not sure if I should be using them due to rarity. Is it worth just using them when needed or is there any reason to hold on to them? Also, if I do use one how long do the effects last?
There is really no point in saving them and you should use them when the time is right for a specific stat boost.
Bobbleheads respawn at lots of locations around the map and can be picked up again.
The effects last an hour so they can give a really good stat boost during a play session depending on what you want to boost.
Bobbleheads can boost the following:
Agility
+2 Agility
Big Guns
Increase Heavy Guns damage by 20% for an hour
Caps
Improved caps stashes
Charisma
+2 Charisma for 1 hour
Energy Weapons
Increase damage with Energy Weapons by 20% for an hour
Endurance
+2 Endurance for 1 hour
Explosives
Increase damage with Explosives by 30% longer for an hour
Intelligence
+2 Intelligence for 1 hour
Leader
5% more experience for 1 hour.
Lockpicking
Increases Lockpicking Sweet Spot by 30% for an hour
Luck
+2 Luck for 1 hour
Melee
+20% Melee Damage for 1 hour
Perception
+2 perception for 1 hour
Repair
Fusion Cores last 30% longer for an hour
Strength
+2 Strength for 1 hour
Science
1 extra hacking guess for an hour
Sneak
30% harder to detect for an hour
